Julia -- Writer & Editor

[View posts by Julia]

My name is Julia, and I am a professional writer, editor, blogger, and community moderator/social media manager. I am also the mother of an angel baby.

My husband and I have been married since January 2003, and have been trying to conceive since April 2007. We were overjoyed when I became pregnant in April 2008. However, our joy soon turned to tears when we learned that I would eventually lose the baby. I miscarried in June 2008, at approximately 12 weeks.

Two years later I'm still learning to deal with it, day by day. And I know I'm not alone. That's why A Mom at Heart is here.

I have recently undergone basic fertility testing, and have been diagnosed with a low FSH level of 9.9 (apparently high for my age, 32), and a polyp in my uterine lining (which was surgically removed through a hysteroscopy).

I love going to the theatre to see the latest musicals in town; I also enjoy singing (in choir and at home with a hairbrush), geocaching, sipping tea, watching a good movie, and spending time with my husband and family & friends. Visit my portfolio at TemlynWriting.com.

Hello everyone,

My name is Jessica and I will give you a brief description of myself. I have been married for almost 2 years now. As some women, I have trouble conceiving with my PCOS and also had a miscarriage which was devastating for me. Right now I have 2 furry kids. One is a 7 month old German Shepherd and the other is an almost 2 year old Mini Dachshund named Maggie.

At this moment I am going through a natural treatment to try to conceive and to get my health back on track. I love to spend time with my husband and watch my dogs play together. Our family consists of the 4 of us.

I love singing, animals (especially dogs), writing, roller coasters, organic food, and, of course, children.

I really look forward talking to you and posting some interesting things about myself.

See you soon,
Jessica
